2010-2011 Sweetheart - Jess Goldberg!
Some information about our 2010-2011Sweetheart, Jess Goldberg!
1.) Age: 22
2.) How long have you been lettered to Sigep? Since Sweetheart Weekend 2010
3.) Major: Journalism and Elementary Education with minors in Public Relations and Early Childhood
4.) Sorority: Zeta Tau Alpha
5.) Any positions held in your sorority? Treasurer, Fundraising, Public Relations, Alumni Relations
6.) Interests? My main interests while attending Rider included anything that involved hanging out with my brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon and my sisters in Zeta Tau Alpha along with anyone else I was lucky enough to befriend throughout my four years. My likes include going out, playing video games, doing extreme sports, playing volleyball, field hockey, football or any other sport available and of course whipping my hair back and forth on the dance floor. Some of my favorite times in college were when I would go to SigEp and hang outside playing kan jam and cornhole whilst Kuumar BBQed up a feast worthy of kings.
7.) A message from the most recent Sigep Sweetheart: "Being sweetheart was something I honestly never expected to be awarded, but it is an honor I am so very proud to keep with me. Since the day that I met my fist SigEp, it was easy to see that this group of guys were not only true gentlemen, but people that you knew that you wanted to let into your heart and that the relationships developed with each brother was one worth cherishing. I love each and every boy in that house and always will. The best part about SigEp is that there are so many different personalities within the house and whether you want to get food, go out at night or just watch a movie there is always a brother more than happy to be a part of it. SigEp is what defined my college experience and I wouldn’t wish for anything different. Being able to be a part of what they value and appreciate is a feeling unlike any other. The absolute best part about the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon is that you do not need to be a brother to feel at home in their house. It took two years for me to gain those letters, and although the feeling of finally putting that jersey over my head was one I will never forget, there was not a day that went by in those two years where I wasn't lettered, that i ever doubted my kinship with any of them. There is a reason that their achievements outshine the rest of the campus and anyone who is given the opportunity to be a part of their brotherhood should consider themselves lucky. I know I do."
