Founder's Day

Happy Founder’s Day! Sigma Phi Epsilon is 110 years old today!
We will be hosting an open ritual in front of University House today. This ritual, called the Burning Heart Ritual, is open to everyone so family and friends of the Fraternity as well as Faculty of Rider University are all able to attend.
The ritual will begin at 10 PM on November 1st, 2011 in front of University House. Please be advised that professional dress is required for this ritual as well…we hope to see you there!

Sweetheart Weekend

A great weekend to be a Sigep! Sweetheart weekend was a blast with many Alumni coming back and celebrating. Our new Sweetheart for the year is Jess Samsel from Alpha Xi Delta!
In addition, two brothers from NJ Zeta are Sweethearts for two other Sororities. Brian Williams is Zeta Tau Alpha’s Sweetheart for the second year in a row, and Ethan Grossman is Sweetheart for Alpha Xi Delta.
Congratulations to all of the other houses and their respective Sweethearts as well!

Volley for Autism Champions

Sigep had two teams compete in Alpha Xi Delta’s event, Volley for Autism, this past Saturday. It was a round robin event where teams competed with each other to raise money for Alpha Xi Delta’s philanthropy, Autism Speaks. The event was extremely successful and one of the Sigep teams won first place! Congratulations to the winning team and Alpha Xi Delta for hosting such an amazing tournament!
Updated Scholarship Information

Incoming male freshman that want to apply for the Balanced Man Scholarship, we have now updated the application so now it can be directly submitted online through the website! Now you don’t have to fill it out by hand and send it through the mail, the whole application can be done right here on the website. If you have already submitted the application by mail, that is fine, you do not need to apply online again, we will have your application! This opportunity for a $500 dollar scholarship sponsored by the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon of Rider University in an important one, so we look forward to your applications! Best of luck to all!

Any incoming male freshman that wants to apply for the Balanced Man Scholarship, a $500 dollar scholarship sponsored by the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon of Rider University, hover over the Balanced Man tab at the top of the page and click “BMS” and it will send you to a page to download the application directly!
